REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic studying and writing skills. Experience:
Appropriate experience. Inherent necessities of the job: Valid Code B/EB
driver’s licence. Sober habits. Responsible for motors and maintenance.

Prepared to work irregular hours.

Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good written and verbal conversation abilities in at least two of three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of transport regulations.

DUTIES : Schedule transport and design transport routes. Loading and transporting of
goods and group of workers compliment. Inspection of vehicles. Timely reporting of minor
and important defects. Responsible for the prescribed archives and logs with regard
to the cars and items handled.

Assist the Transport Officer to preserve the transport fleet in a smooth and roadworthy condition. Prepare reviews for the supervisor when needed. Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety
Act.
