There are over 50 commercial jetliners operated by Airlink between 13 African countries and St Helena Island, making it the largest independent airline in Southern Africa measured by flight movements.

In order to offer international travellers the widest network of destinations throughout Southern Africa, Airlink is proudly associated with many of the world’s largest airlines, such as Emirates, Qatar, and United Airlines, through interline and codeshare agreements.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) accredits Airlink through its IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit program). The International Air Transport Association (IATA) represents airlines around the world. Many areas of aviation activity are supported by IATA, as well as critical aviation policy formulation. IATA assists airlines to operate safely, securely, efficiently, and economically under clearly defined rules. Airlink is IOSA conformant and have been since 2006.
The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
At least a higher-grade D or standard grade C in English.
A valid CAA Flight Attendant License will be advantageous.
Must have reliable transport.
Must be medically fit.
Are capable of working independently and without supervision.
Are physically fit.
Are well groomed.
Weight should be proportional to height, with a minimum height of 1.55m and a maximum of 1.73m.
Having effective English communication skills and a caring disposition is essential.
Obtain an extremely intensive training programme that lasts approximately six weeks, which includes a series of assessments and interviews.
An examination of psychological and psychometric factors, a security check, and a medical examination shall be performed.
Have the ability to swim.
Be a South African citizen and hold a valid South African identity document.
You must live near the airport within a reasonable distance.
As and when required, will attend training.
